Kevin can be seen at KD Photo @ Sam's Tours where he is known for taking pictures and shooting videos. If you see a school of Kevins, slowly ascend to a shallower depth 'til the narcosis subsides. Remain out of the water for 24 hours.

Dense clouds of Red Snapper may be seen when these outer reef dwellers gather for spawning during full moon cycles. While sighted at other times throughout the year large schools are more common around the June and July timeframe.

ORANGESPINE UNICORNFISH

Seen during the half moon periods in the early months of the year, Orangespine Unicornfish make a majestic sight as they swim to and fro in large schools prior to spawning. The best chance for sighting them is from February to April.

These snappers can be seen in small numbers through the reefs in Palau, but at New Drop Off they stay in a colorful pack and greet you at the first turn in the reef. Wall on the left!

Batfish are common throughout Palau in small numbers. Larger schools are seen in several places such as this one I captured near Ulong Channel.

PIGMY SWEEPER

Sweepers are small in size but very colorful with their golden body. They hide under the ledges of large boulder like coral formations. Larger fish are usually in the area attempting to make a meal of them.

Swimming through a large school of barracudais yet another great sensation divers may enjoyin Palau. Large schools are seen at severalPalau dive sites with the most common school living at Blue Corner.

MOORISH IDOL

With their long dorsal fins all moving in unison, schooling Moorish Idols are a thing of beauty to behold as they weave their way across the reef. They are seen in the beginning months of the year on the half moon cycles from January to March.
